Tibbetts: How long have you composed, and what made you decide to become a composer?

Paulinyi: About 10 years composing. History tells violinists were great composers, so I should try.

Tibbetts: What inspires you?

Paulinyi: Artistic movements, great paintings, literature.

Tibbetts: Of all you have done, what do you consider your best work, and why?

Paulinyi: What I am doing now.

Tibbetts: What is your 'typical day' like?

Paulinyi: Working.

Tibbetts: Do you have any words of wisdom to offer to aspiring composers and musicians?

Paulinyi: Soul is thirsty of beauty: good music can drive us to the heaven. There is war outside, but we can make music and peace.
