Tibbetts: How long have you been developing games, and what made you decide to become a game developer?

SantoNinoDeCebu: I made my first game, Asteroids, at the beginning of 2003. But my attention span was too short back then so I never really did much else. It wasn't until 7 years later that I got back into it.

I started playing games since my hands could hold a NES controller so it seemed like a natural step, I then went to UNI to study computer programming.

Tibbetts: Which software do you prefer?

SantoNinoDeCebu: The environment I'm used to working in is Microsoft Visual Studios, using C++. I still use the Flash IDE for making games in Actionscript 3, (mainly due to laziness).

Tibbetts: What inspires you?

SantoNinoDeCebu: All those who've come before me!

Tibbetts: Of all you have done, what do you consider your best work, and why?

SantoNinoDeCebu: My contribution to Black Ops Zombies for the iOS. I was one of the coders for the Dead Ops "Arcade Mode". Running over zombies in a tank is always good fun right?

Tibbetts: Do you have any words of wisdom to offer to aspiring game developers and programmers?

SantoNinoDeCebu: Keep those personal projects rolling; that way you get to create what you want to create. For me at least, it keeps me interested in game development. If you start working professionally, your creative freedom can be severely restricted and it can become 'just a job'.
