This video was recorded in an office at UMass Amherst. Working at a university and following an academic calendar, it can be hard to keep up one's chops over the break. This piece was an excellent excuse for staying in good musical shape during the summer of 2018, particularly since it was a technical challenge for me. I admire Cynthia's playing and I'm happy I got a chance to record with her.
