After making a couple short films, I wanted to try something longer and more ambitious. It starred me and my brother, Donald. The plot was inspired by That's What Friends Are For, a book by Ronald Kidd. The film was made in Augusta, Windsor, and South China. Brother Angel pushed me to work on my editing and my filmmaking skills, which was fun and productive. I was very proud of my brother for his acting and memorizing lines. It was great to work on the film with him and bond over that experience. I'm indebted to Cooper Smith, who helped with the camerawork, as well as everybody who participated in the film. Even though some real names are used, the events in Brother Angel are fictional.
