Back then, I didn't give my pieces names. I just gave them numbers and kept going. To hear some of those early experiments go to the juvenilia page. I've always liked the ambiguity in this music. It's hard to tell whether it's in G minor or B flat major, and I think the melody has an elusive quality; I'm not sure how to describe it. This performance was at the University of New Hampshire by clarinetist Nicole Starr and guitarist Nick Dauphinais.
