Smosh Mosh

Smosh Mosh by Janina Putzker is an animated miniseries for adults (meaning it's not safe for work, containing nudity and sexual content). The pilot episode was supported by a successful Kickstarter in 2018. Before that campaign, the team solicited opinions online regarding various elements of the story--heroes, villains, settings, etc.--presenting over a hundred illustrated choices. Once the votes were in, they used the results to combine many different ideas. The result is fascinating, colorful, funny, and strange. As of this writing, the pilot episode is still in development.

I'm very happy to be a part of this project. I love writing music for animation in general, and this is the sort of crazy project that I'm most excited to contribute to. Smosh Mosh is unlike anything I've seen before and Janina is a talented, creative artist who I'm honored to work with.

When I'm composing I tend to generate much more material than necessary (hence the Cutting Room Floor project). All of the music below was created with Smosh Mosh in mind, but only some of it will make it into the final version of the pilot.

The musical style of "Smosh Mosh" is influenced by chiptunes and retro video game soundtracks.
