I was really into Stravinsky at the time and you can tell it influenced this piece. It's been performed a couple of times at UMass Amherst, most notably by John Bottomley with pianist Nikki Stoia. I'm interested in getting a recording of this at some point, so if you're a tuba player and you'd like to perform it please let me know.
